call of duty?
Fucked up like the matrix, heads below the ground, eyes blinded by the night, permanently part of our lives. Machines taking over like bombs are all some people see. Robocop Obama has a broken piece, his military breaking all hope of peace. Running through the day and running through the night, like these drones I swear they have no heart, their minds are worlds apart. Not knowing the innocence that they kill because they’re just killing through a screen, like Call of Duty in reality. And people ask why there is no peace, and why Palestine still isn’t free.
But it’s the poverty that really pulls at me, like it’s frustration of the highest degree. And I feel we’re moving backwards, 7 billion people, all waiting for their feed, but the wealthy not willing to share the shit that they don’t need.
And society is turning into a fucking nightmare, values that should never have been seen, taking over lives of those who can’t see clear! -

yann martel / life of pi
“I had to stop hoping so much that a ship would rescue me. I should not count on outside help. Survival had to start with me. In my experience, a castaway’s worst mistake is to hope too much and to do too little. Survival starts by paying attention to what is close at hand and immediate. To look out with idle hope is tantamount to dreaming one’s life away.”
